Strawberry Popping Boba Matcha Latte

When matcha meets sweet strawberry pop 

This Strawberry Popping Boba Matcha Latte is a whole vibe, 100% plant-based 🌱


A refreshing fusion of earthy and sweet, this matcha latte blends smooth, green tea with a swirl of strawberry syrup for a burst of berry flavor. Topped with vibrant strawberry popping boba that burst with juicy sweetness in every sip, this drink is a playful balance of bold matcha and fruity delight—perfectly chilled and irresistibly satisfying.

Ingredients for 1 Glass:

Premium Matcha by Locca: 1 tsp

Water for Matcha: 40 ml

Strawberry Popping Boba by Locca: 65g

Ice Cubes: 120g

Brown Sugar Syrup by Locca: 1 tsp

Oat Milk: 100ml


Steps:


  1. Briefly soak the whisk bristles in hot water before using them to whisk. Discard the water and dry the bowl. Sift the matcha. Use a fine mesh sifter to sift the matcha into the bowl. This removes clumps and ensures a smooth, frothy result.

  2. Whisk premium matcha powder with hot water until smooth( Make sure the water is not hot above 175 F, so the matcha doesn’t burn).

  3. Whisk in a fast M or W motion, just touching the bottom of the bowl. Continue for 15–20 seconds until a fine layer of froth forms on the surface.

  4. Add the strawberry popping boba to the serving glass

  5. Add ice

  6. Add brown sugar syrup

  7. Pour in cold oat milk

  8. Gently pour matcha over the oat milk for that perfect layered look. Add the matcha to the ice slowly to achieve a layered look.
