Vegan Banana Bread Easy Recipe

When you have overripe bananas there is nothing better than a freshly baked loaf of banana bread.

Today we are making banana bread it’s delicious with loads of banana flavor.

Ingredients for Vegan Banana Bread

Ripe Bananas – 3 Large

Vanilla Extract – 1 Teaspoon

Oil – 6 Tablespoons

Sugar – 100 grams

All Purpose Flour – 200 Grams

Baking Powder – 2 Teaspoons

Salt – 1/3rd Teaspoon

Cinnamon – 1/3rd Teaspoon

Chocolate Chips- Half bowl (roughly 75 grams)

Step 1 - To a bowl, add 3 sliced ripe bananas, I have taken three large bananas for the recipe. Mash them using a fork or a masher. You can choose to mash them finely but I like small chunks of bananas in my banana bread, so it’s all up to you. Then add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 6 tablespoons of oil, mix all the wet ingredients. As you can see the wet ingredients are well combined. After that add 100 grams of sugar, you may decrease the quantity of sugar if you like as the bananas would also add the sweetness to the recipe. Mix the sugar well with the rest of the ingredients.

Step 2 - Now add 200 grams of all-purpose flour to the bowl using a sieve, which will help to filter the big chunks of flour. Add 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1/3rd teaspoon of salt, 1/3rd teaspoon of cinnamon powder, now mix all the ingredients till they are well combined. It’s a very simple mixing and you do not need any extra equipment for this, you can do it simply by hand. The batter looks good now.

Step 3 - Add half cup of chocolate chips to the bowl, you can add walnuts and raisins too if you like.

Transfer the batter to the baking tray. Tap the baking tray to even out the batter. Sprinkle the rest of the chocolate chips on top of the batter.

Step 4 - Bake it for 1 hour over 180 C. The vegan banana bread is ready, let it rest till it cools down.

Slice the banana bread at least after an hour of resting, I know how difficult it is to resist but it will be worth it. Then slice the banana bread and enjoy it with your family this holiday season.
